EOS is a competitor to Ethereum. It is a platform type coin that wants other coins to develop on top of it. Until it gets mass adoption from the community.

For me, EOS have right to live but with so giant ICO funds they don't have good own native explorer - it's not good. I understand that Larimer's Bitshares too long harnessed. But today this project need a few people.
