I didn't catch up with AMA that of few days ago. What I saw this morning in telegram it was stated that fork is successful and they shared new smart contract address. Later today, OPQ tokens will be distributed to those having private wallets and to those were holding on exchanges will receive by exchanges. It must be in coming hours that everyone will start reporting here of receiving of tokens.
Yes, they deployed contract and now are in contacting with kucoin to get all traders new tokens. Kucoin has to approve it.
I think everything will be fine with the Kucoin exchange, but there will be problems with other exchanges. People will most likely receive their new tokens with a delay, and on some exchanges they will not receive them at all. I remember how Poloniex distributed BCH for several months.
