TrustED utilizes secure cryptographic mechanisms to ensure the data (academic credentials and information) stored on the ecosystem is protected and kept secure. Cryptographic encryption mechanisms as well as the ability to choose who can and can’t view your credentials gives control back to the academic credential recipient. The student/employee can either accept or deny the request ensuring they are the ones with full control over their academic credentials. With no central point to be exploited the system is protected against hacking attacks and fraud.
