The reason for this is that a very small number of miners with very powerful mining equipment were collecting 99% of the new LVT for a long time.
That was possible at relatively low mining expenses because LVT mining difficulty was, -and is-, still low.

The Levitate Team apologizes to the big miners affected for this bold move.
However, we anticipate this move will increase mining attractiveness of LVT to a larger group of miners,
a decrease of the LVT selling at low price on Start Exchange,
and an increase of the probability LVT price will go up.
Currently you can still buy LVT at a very low price at https://start-ex.com/trade/LVT_BTC
The good news for those who already hold LVT; it will become more difficult to acquire a lot of new LVT.
