Ethereum does not have a competitor at the moment. I think NEO is the best competitor for Ethereum in the future. The only real competitor of ETh is Neo, this is already an operational platform. But No one knows which one will take his development to another level.
It seems to me that certain platforms will be used for specific purposes and the interests of the ethereum will not intersect with such platforms as NEO or waves.
