People come to bitcoin and a few altcoins as they need them. Trying to market crypto just makes it look and sound like a scam.

I strongly disagree with this statement. First of all, Bitcoin is not a shitcoin and people saying this is ignorant. Secondly, Bitcoin must be marketed to people like game developers and financial institutions to give them an alternative payment option. Do you think for one moment that payment methods like PayPal and VISA and Mastercard would stop marketing their product in a competitive environment like this?
If marketing is a indicator of scams, then no advertisements would have been used on social media or any other platform for that matter.
