I just read that the next cryptocurrency explosion will not be triggered by bitcoin price surge but another. What do you think it will be and why? I also want to know why it won't be bitcoin since from the very beginning I am a follower and believer of bitcoin.
Where did you read that? Who's the author? I find it very unlikely that there will be another coin who will lead the next bull run. So far there has been no scenario like that. Bitcoin has always been the main cause for alts surge. Look at 2013 when Bitcoin hits ATH $1200, Litecoin was able to reach $150. Recently when Bitcoin reach ATH $19K, ETH was at $1000, and LTC made another new ATH at $366.
Also by looking at how the crypto scene growing today, no alts is even close to Bitcoin in terms of development. Well, maybe ETH also had a good development. So if I had to choose an alt, I'd pick ETH.
