I would rather say bitcoin is the  brain if all coins as it is even more important than a heart. Up until now , since biycoin hit the 20k mark it has gone down about 3× its all time high. But check other coins, most of then have gone 10-20× below their all time high if not more. Bitcoin is  the head as it occupies 50% of the entire market cap
