The primary role of Energi masternodes is voting rights and governance to the blockchain network. Governance is the foundation of any long lasting enterprise. 10,000 NRG are needed to run a masternode. Masternodes can vote where Energi from the treasury is directed, as well as receive significant dividend payments.
