I've mined for a few hours and wallet wasn't showing coins as expected but fortunately found the way to fix it as the dev has said... just go to Settings, click on the Info tab and there is a 'Wallet creation height:' line with a value and a link displaying '(Click to change)'. I changed this to 1 then the wallet rescanned the transactions and shazam they miraculously appeared!

Give it a go. Worked for me.
