You are talking about the fact that I can increase the clock speed to 1000. That's right, but if you see it, it's at 950  Wink

So we can overclock him up to 1000 but we didn't do it.

Ori, As you check all the machines from my laptop and took the screenshots you didn't saw any machine was overclocked to 1000  Wink

Beyond that you have it yourself on the google drive an image of 900_stable.

Before you talk to me make sure you remove the overclock_900. Of those 50, I did not see Z1 get broken by overclock to 950!

Apart from that, Me and my colleagues have taken all care of what you all have not done: deliver a good software to a Dayun!

Dear Zigminer,

You posted screenshots you secretly took during a teamviewer session.

Let me explain why we made modifications to you firmware.
We are a hosting company, hosting a lot of ASIC-Miners.

In order to host more than 1 Miner, we need the miners to have different IP addresses.
This already is the first shortcoming of the Zigminer Firmware.

Every miner will use the same static IP chosen by you. Even after changing it in the webinterface of the miner to DHCP it keeps the same IP.
That is why we began to modify the firmware, so that we can actually use the miners.
We hardcoded the firmware to DHCP.

Then we realized that the method you use to set up a MAC adress was also messy and didnt work well. There even is a firmware version you provide with fixed MAC address. Not very handy.

In the screenshot you provided you can see that our company name was added to the webinterface (https://www.mininghosting.eu). That doesn't change functionaltiy. But it was a good indicator for us and for our clients that the miner is running a repaired version of your firmware.
To disable SSH and therefore remove important monitoring options again makes the zigminer less and less attractive to use.
Compared to other ASICs the Z1 is very unstable, therefore monitoring is key.

I hope you will enable SSH again, so we can use the newest firmware you provide.

@zigminer,

I have 40 zig z1 miners.

In some cases I have the problem that I can reach them but when I log in via ssh I can see via command "top" that the miner the process FPGA_Download is active. When this process is activated, the miner can not start mining.
I searched a lot on the internet for this problem but could not find anything about it that you could find it.

Yesterday I tried the new firmware 1105, this firmware is indeed a bit faster but the layout is the same. Is OK. What I also find very sorry about this version is that they have shielded the SSH and have also created an encrypted partition in the image.

Why is SSH so important to me:
I can then manage and control all miners in my software, like reboot and read out the values, such as hashrate. Because they have a lot of problems with.

The built-in function of the miner does not always work well. That is why I made a script and applied it in the previous Firmware versions so that if the miner stays below the average hashrate within 60 minutes, the miner must restart.

I cannot do that now with the new Firmware 1105. I would like more information about this so I also have access to SSH at Firmware 1105.

I closed the SSH because some vendors had changed their procedures privately, causing mine operations to be unstable.

After the firmware is modified, the frequency can be set to 1000mhz, many user hash boards are burned. For such users, how do we carry out after-sales maintenance?
check this image , freq max 1000mhz

We are not dayun!
The stable frequency of z1 is 900Mhz
The stable frequency of z1+ is 925Mhz
