I'm just curious peoples thoughts I know we are racing towards AI in a big way these days.. But Ive never seen anybody discuss giving AI emotional intelligence?! does GAI consist of emotional intelligence too? Is giving AI emotional intelligence a better thing for humanity or would be worse off?
What is the purpose of the AI? if it is to resemble humans with their mistakes and defects, then it would be necessary, but if we try to make work tools it would not be in any case.
I think if we make an AI with a judgment based on emotional intelligence won't be accepted from the users...
