yes, including environmental diseases. because the environment there is a lot of gamblers, so many other people will also be affected and eventually get addicted too. if you want to really eliminate the addiction, then the environment must also be eliminated from gambling addiction.
I'm guessing you are pointing the surroundings? And mostly those people that are influencing you to gamble, right? I'm thinking faraway from your explanation about the environment because it's the nature that you are living with. You can't just eliminate the surroundings and the people you are living with. The best is to go away from them and don't go near them if you really want to eliminate addiction in your life.
It's the best for someone who wants to move on and change his lifestyle.

True, when we live in an environment surrounded by gamblers, of course the chance to become an addict will be higher. And that will not only affect us alone. The people closest to us are certainly very vulnerable to follow them. Leaving such an environment is the best way even though the costs can be very expensive.
I'm thinking the same if you really have to overcome the need of moving on and reducing your addiction. But I'm also considering what Betwrong said about unexpected things that we don't want to happen. That's it, you have to do something so you won't suffer with the consequences that being an addicted in gambling is. Also you need to consider personal life matters so it depends on how you would adjust yourself and take concern of others.
