Bitfinex also has high interest lending, which gets you something like up to 1% per day on USD loans.  so you're not just borrowing for leverage, but you can make guaranteed money by lending.  They also have good deposit /cash out by wire... compared to btce who don't even make sure you're kyc aml hence they could easily go down.  Also their liquidity is up to par with btce, because the trade are routed to bitstamp. 

Also, if you look at the stats page, you see that there is usually 10 million plus lent out.

Finally, you actually know the owners of bitfinex and exactly where they're located which is the free trade district of pudong and the ceo and cfo's linkedn is public.
