Its called PR. And the Genesis block was not mined. Watch carefully. When actual launch comes everything will probably have been reset anyway and restarted.
Simple fact is it was not a launch. It was a show explaining to people about crypto coins. Max coin was used as an example. For Max coin it was a great PR opportunity. Now they can get on with actual launch..
