Pretty sure
Centrality were the first company to do an ICO in NZ no? They raised over 80 million too which was pretty impressive.
What do you guys think your competitive advantage is over something like KiwiCoin or Cryptopia. Especially the latter because they were pretty innovative with creating an NZDT (Although that didn't last long). I do like the slick design. But another exchange is gonna make the space pretty crowded.
First of all, Centrality's ICO was not based in NZ. Most ICOs carried out by NZ start up companies were based overseas (mostly due to regulatory reasons). So unlike Centrality, our ICO is open to NZ investors and our whitepaper was viewed by the Government branch that handles financial markets (FMA). This is how we are different from other cryptocurrency projects in NZ. We aim to be one of the very first to explore these grounds.
We respect both Kiwi Coin and Cryptopia (and other crypto companies based in NZ) as strong NZ exchanges. We appreciate your comment about our design. Usability is our key selling point. We believe cryptocurrency is here to stay and it is still at the baby stage. It is our goal to introduce a new wave of investors into the world of cryptocurrency and we aim to do that by being the most reliable (both legal/security wise) and user friendly (the "simple mode" and other features like "flexible trading" that will aid our clients.
Our next whitepaper update will include:
1. new features that we aim to add on our exchange to further simplify crypto trading; and
2. add a new section that explains the technical side of our exchange in a lot more detail.
Thanks!
