What is the $ equivalent of your average ICO investment? 
I have never tried investing in an ICO and I don't know if I ever will. It seems that I have grown to be contented with bounty hunting. Less risks but the rewards are reasonably good.it sounds funny when you promote their ico project but you are not interested in investing there I know people like you who are only satisfied with the free tokens
My advice might be that you should try to invest in a project that you support if you think it will be successful
