I've been trying to message the people that posted on the first page - if they mentioned the other coin or talked about trojan that wasn't there. Maybe they will be receptive to deleting their posts.
I've already talked to one pool operator that was hesitant to open a pool because of that "Trojan" post in big red letters on the first page.
Even the people that quoted that post - they should remove the quote.
Emphasize the virus total scan link for the wallet. Bold it out so everyone see's it. Make it in big red bold like the trojan alert is. =)
Weird ... cause when I put the NyanCoin.zip that I just downloaded from NyanCoin.org VirusTotal said there is a Trojan:
https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/a601758203c328d58236cef4f4f64ac3a78e4a7ea02318db659235d5e4c1d87b/analysis/1390945570/Not sure if I want to deal with the potential false positive being a true positive.
Is the VirusTotal page saying 45 tests came back fine and 1 from TrendMIcro set some alert off?
Why would Trend Micro's section of VirusTotal.com be wrong in this case? Thanks for your insight!
Would you please go . and open Trend Micro's official site
http://www.trendmicro.comand could you please try to find any information about
TROJ_GEN.F47V0807
(you may Ctrl-C Trojan-name from your own link)
and after that great adventure, please, tell us something interesting by yourself ...
