Litecoin is not trying to replace Bitcoin. Litecoin is more like Bitcoin's younger brother. I think Litecoin is a good coin, but still Bitcoin is coin number 1 and I dont think Litecoin can become more popular than Bitcoin.
I agree that it is a good coin, but I also doubt that Litecoin will become currency number 1. although I myself keep some Litecoin in my portfolio.
