It was my understanding that bitcoin cash (BCH) is no more, there is now BCH ABC and BCH SV that have been issues 1:1 in replacement of any BCH holdings. Perhaps I am mistaken in this?

I am surprised to see such kind of blockchain civil war. Well neither are BCH anymore really are they. They shouldn't try to piggy back of their former success because they chose this path. Go out on their own now as BCHSV and BCH ABC and let's see who wins the war.
