If it is low quality and not adding anything new or relevant to the discussion then it would likely be thrashed if it's a thread and deleted if it's a reply.

Unfortunately as much as we wish they can not trash all threads and posts which should be. That's why the entire community needs to out hands together to maintain the quality on the forum.
