A friend of mine started to save money in BTC for his son.
Now he is in worry about the idea because of this last dropping months.
I told him to re-load some BTC up to lower the average.

Its BTC a good way to save money for our kids?
Will this pay them a car? the university? a house? nothing at all?
Bitcoin is volatile, everything here is unpredictable, it's price changes and we do not know when will it rise so it is not a good idea that everything that you save for your son are all come from bitcoin. You can use bitcoin as an additional savings or profit but do not rely everything in BTC, there are also factors that can affect in earning BTC like scams, hacked, and others. So I think it is not a good way.
I agree no one has to only rely upon bitcoin investment specially when saving money for there kids which is a major choice for both parents and the kid but it won't be in vain if some one invest a simple amount in a valuable investing asset like bitcoin because even its prices are low these days there is a high possibility to recover in the near future so the risk that was taken will not be wasted in any way if invested in the correct time and the correct amount
