Well i just hope it will not take that long to achieve that, because something new will happen with cryptocurrency and i believe in a decade everything will change.
cryptocurrency and those companies are different, we need the miners to run the chain while they do not and right now some miners are stopping their mining rig because it is no longer profitable to mine it. if it keeps moving on, i am afraid that time will come faster from what we were expecting before.
They got manipulated heavily, but they could survive because they are companies. they have a leader to make a decision about everything, while cryptocurrency is something different, there is no central authority to make a decision when the market or the project goes south or to prevent the manipulation that could destroy the project itself.
