The developers of a coin should not concentrate themselves from trying to protect the price of their coins, this is a free market and the free market needs to decide what it is the price of something, if you as an investor needs protection from someone in order to protect you from your own decisions then you do not really have what it's necessary to be a good investor and you should stop doing it.
