One example, Brisk's major goal is to solve the issues of First leg, and Last leg transportation issues that most commuters who use public transportation experience daily. In areas such as Los Angeles county, roughly 700k commuters use public transportation on a daily basis. Typically, most commuters live 1-3 miles from their initial point of public transportation pick-up. Mirroring that, most commuters final destinations are also an addition 1-3 miles from the ending stop of their public transportation mode. Typically these commuters would have to opt for driving a vehicle to the first point of pick up, wasting gas, realeasing emissions, paying for parking, etc, with the added mishap of potential traffic delays. On the ending routes, typically the option would be to get additional public transportation or even use an uber, which is costly and still has the issue of traffic congestion. This is the gap that Brisk intends to fill with a simple to use mobility platform in the form of portable electric vehicles.
