How can we create a bank that helps others grow and thrive?

Banks simply cannot do that unless they operate as a not for profit. Even then, the act of having a middle man involved in any transaction will always decrease efficiency from the optimal. The only true optimal is a transaction where buyer and seller meet and interact directly but that's near impossible to facilitate due to many factors, not least the geography.
