Monero (XMR) is and will always be a good investment for long-term hodling. I think Monero (XMR) is the best privacy coin, and as of this writing, its price is $54 - very, very affordable for everyone to buy. 
Now all the coins have very affordable prices, but this's not a reason to buy them, as most of them are scam, don't forget about it! But anyway, if we talk about long term holding I'm sure that one day BTC is pumped, all top-1000 coins will be pumped as well, even those that are useles pieces of scam.
