You must loot creatures manually. Butterflies and frogs are the weakest creatures in the game and will therefor not drop much that's valuable.

I think I got a loot now from Maggot creature, 2 copper coins. Seems I need to buy a sword to deal more damage.
But I spent all my money with leather armor and helmet. I hope I can finish my set with the 5 silver coins reward.
