I'm very excited about this program... I didn't sleep much last night because I was getting certified!
I took the "Dragonchain Certified User" course and exam, which included a section on blockchain in general and a section on the Dragonchain ecosystem specifically.
I took the "Dragonchain Certified Practitioner" course and exam which included a section on the Dragonchain architecture and a section on provisioning DC nodes through the platform console. I received 49 DRGN + access to continue for 6 more months in the Academy program for passing this.
Then I took the "Dragonchain Certified Smart Contract Practitioner" course which is still in beta but I learned how to implement a smart contract in DC (token creation and custom contracts).
This is extremely interesting and powerful stuff, after learning more about DC and its integration/interoperability/interchaining with really any other chain/project out there, I really think the sky is the limit for my dragons.
The plan as I understand is for more advanced courses to roll out, specifically as I recall what is planned so far is tracks for 'developers' for 'architects' and for 'modelers'. Right now there is only 200-level course at the highest, but I think it goes to 400 or 500.
It's really exciting because there isn't all that much out there in the space for people to learn, especially not learning without forking over a crazy amount to schools, and in this case it is actually possible to earn through growing knowledge.
I learned some things I didn't know about blockchain, I learned some I didn't know about DC, and I think this could be pretty big and I'm glad and honored to be on the ground floor of its construction.
