EXPERIMENTAL SETUP:a. standing at the shore,
b. (preferably) a modded Nikon P1000 infrared camera in hand, a tripod in the other,
c. photographing a lighthouse at a known distance of ten (10) miles,
d. all of the water in-between including the shore and the base of the lighthouse visible in the viewfinder,
e. the horizon line also visible above and behind the base of the lighthouse.
CONCLUSIONS:1. The distance to the horizon on a globe is about three (~3) miles,
2. on a globe you know ships sail up, over and behind a curved horizon of water about three (~3) miles away,
3. NASA shows us "images" of a globe Earth and curved water from "outer space",
4. the Sun and Moon are round,
5. the shadows on the Moon and from sticks in the ground prove your ancestors were flying monkeys that hatched from dinosaur eggs if you don't check your assumptions.
