Two Facts of Life
1. You can not convince an atheist to believe in God
2. You can not convince a God-believer to become an atheist.
#2 is not true.
I was a strong believer, then I turned 12.
Did someone convince you to change your belief, or did you change your own belief
by yourself?
It was a slow process, but piece by piece the Catholic storyline stopped making sense. Reading Bible accelerated my loss of faith.
What a bunch of hogwash! Stoning, killing babies, cutting off hands, flat Earth, talking snakes, 6000-year-old Earth, 6 days creation, living in the stomach of a whale etc. Too much to stomach.
Read any science textbook, then re-read the Bible again.
See what you get. I bet you, you will not get through Genesis before you become an Atheist.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1367154.0 You forgot to be a critic after you turned 12, you found a doctrine that was convincing enough, I recognize there's some truth in science however there's no proof to convince me that God doesn't exist, there's no proof about the creation of the earth point of view from science, there's no proof of evolution, you then forgot to analyze and examine the evidence of the veracity of the bible, it's everywhere, geological proof, historical proof, the miracles that are in video, then this proof doesn't matter, you became such a critic that became selective about what proof to believe in.
And while I think that all of that is in Bible cannot be taken in word by word but is rather a metaphorical story I don't understand how can you say there is no proof of evolution? Also, a few friends of mine who have faith in God have not approached this issue by saying that there is no such thing as evolution (as there is scientific proof behind it) but rather said that they believe god is the creator of things that can be explained by science as well. Your arguments here however are not really based on anything except for anger.
