They clearly have something big in the making and are just lowering the hashrate by not supplying enough good miners so that they can come in with a big boom and pop all the corn themselves. Mega bullish?

no actually i think jihan did capture the large scale production part of the biz very well back in the day. prolly the new companies need time to ramp up production. depends on their abilities and connections. whether they mine a bit on them beforehand, well bitmain are being sued for that, but the new guys could just structure their biz differently.
