We need bitcoin and cryptocurrency in the modern world because the most transaction is made through online right now. What we need in the next 10 years is a cashless society which you don't need a middleman (banks) to transact online. Security and adaptation might be the problem right now but give it some time to cope up. Let's say crypto is the internet of our era today. There's might be a lot of uncertainty but it will be all worth it someday.
