Also we are working on onchain voting for a governance system, but this we want to decide with the community like a constitution (experimental atm)
Has on-chain voting ever worked out well? Looking at past attempts it seems more trouble than good. Not just because it can and will be gamed, but also because it is a hassle that gets in the way of user experience.
Put another way: has the lack of democracy in a virtual world ever hurt the experience?
Well there are much different onchain votings systems, some better then others i think coins like Tezos and Decred are great, prevent forking and also let people help taking decisions.
Gamed voting is mostly cause people create a system where people dont have to put their money where their mouth is, thats why for exemple decred got tickets and tezos a bond and roll.
This will let people have more good intention for the voting cause they actually have to own the coin and put it at stake. Tricking this system is expensive and also put your own coins at risk.
Like i said its experimental but we def. going to have a look at it.
