The United Nations Blockchain Foundation (UNBF) is an organization under the World Blockchain Organization, which is part of the International Development Information Organization-DevNet (IDIO), a Non-Governmental and Non-Profit Organization (NGO) in Special Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).

The UNBF is in the works of tokenizing special drawing rights in the form of cryptocurrency — the Crypto Special Drawing Rights (C-SDR). Similar to the Special Drawing Rights (SDR) established by the International Monetary Fund, the C-SDR will comprise a basket of anchor cryptocurrencies that will pave the way for the global circulation and acceptance of cryptocurrencies in the near future. The Opet Token will be one of the anchor currencies of the basket, securing its value as a global cryptocurrency.
