And Professor Stephen Jones and a colleague proved it was nano-thermite. Nano-thermite is a tiny-sized form of thermite that can do a tremendously great amount of destructive force for a small amount of thermite.

The buildings were weakened with directed energy, there was some explosive work but none that could make it go free fall speed. Essentially the metal was altered at the molecular level, forgive me if that sounds dumb I'm not a physicist.
Don't feel like you need forgiving. After all, there are a whole lot of anomalies that aren't explained by Stepehn Jones and nano-thermite. You mentioned one of them - weakening with direct energy.
Perhaps there was some kind of super microwave beaming at the buildings so that the nano-thermite could do its work easier. Hard to tell.
One of my private theories is that the thermite was place into the concrete of the buildings when they were built, just so that they could be brought down easily if ever needed. I mean, loads of people knew all about thermite way back into the 1800s, long before the 1970s when the first of the buildings was built.
If I am right about this, then people should be scared of the other buildings in the World Trade Center - the buildings still standing. Why? Someone could decide to "pull" them just like Building 7. And a lot more people would lose their lives.
The thing that should be done, now, is, analyze the concrete in these other buildings of the WTC, just to make sure that there is not any thermite in them. After all, it would have been easy to mix thermite into the concrete that went into all the buildings. And the workers would never know what the secret ingredient was that they were mixing in. Just something new to make the concrete stronger.
