Thank you for saying it out plain-like. Rather than kissing ass to avoid torture, accept the freedom that God offers. But if you don't, it is your choice. So, when you are in the torture, remember that you had the choice to stay out of it, but willingly jumped into it.

Good. I have found my imagination to be goofy, as well. But for a limited thinker like you, your best bet is to attempt to believe in God. Why? Because if there isn't any God, you simply wasted a little time in life. But consider the alternative...
You know that you have made mistakes in life. You know that once in a while you do something wrong that hurts you. You might trip on the bathroom rug and get a bruise from the fall. You might be in a car accident that is your fault, and your insurance goes up. What if you are wrong about God?
At least give God a sincere try. If there is no God, all you lose is a little wasted time. But if there is a God and Heaven and Hell, you could be talking about eternal life. So look at the logic of at least trying. If you fail in your trying, but there is a Hell, the brownie points you get for really trying might lessen your pain somewhat.
Use logic in this.
