Can someone explain to me what Vostok is? A new ico?
Sasha got bored and set up a new blockchain for corporate use only using Waves technology funded by Waves investors.
Yes, they'll be an ICO, but plebs like us are being largely kept out - it's mainly for the super wealthy, minimum $250K investment. I believe, that Vostok is a good thing and there will be others heading towards a similar solutions. Open source can not be used everywhere and block chains have their limitations. There are a lot of large institutional organisations, which are holding back on block chain technology because they can't run on the current solutions. Vostok will bring additional resources to Waves and that's ultimately a good thing for growth.
