This exactly! People who bought a year ago during the big crypto hype surely lost all hope now after this bear market. But that doesn't mean that this is the end of the blockchain technology. Quite the contrary, I am sure we will see blockchain used more and more in the future.

I think this way of thinking is too simple. Not all people who bought in the hype lost their hope.
There are many people which didnt sell and hold their bags till now.
They eagerly waiting for Bakkt, ETF and for the moment where all the hypocritical financial sharks have entered cheaply and stop their lying media campaigns finally.
