This sounds interesting. Virtual reality is a future such as blockchain as well. Decentraland is became very popular already... May be this project will become popular too.
But how you will monetize this?
I think they will use utitlity tokens to pay for services and purchases inside the VR.
Does the token have holding value where people can get something by holding it or perhaps there is a mechanism to support and increase the token price? If there is anything rather than just relying solely on the law of supply and demand.
The non profit foundation will raise tokens with the token sale taking tokens out of the circulating supply untill they are used for something that itself will bring more
value to the platform. We're creating a voting system for some decisions about the platform, people might be rewarded for taking part in the voting but will have to lock
a x amount of tokens for a specific time period. (put your money where your mouth is system to avoid abuse)
Beside that we want to support hundreds of use-cases and they all can have a system that lock coins think for example about a smart contract lottery or a monthly
game competition that needs a small payment for the reward pool.

Other than renting your space in the virtual world it would be nice to have some kind of reward for the holders because not every holder would own land.
I agree the token should get value and holders should be rewarded, just also you need to be really carefull in what way you do that. Picking a wrong reward solution
can make you a garanteed security and then you wont be listed on exchanges.
