Can you tell us more about the "AI algorithms", you mentioned? It seems this is how you measured the popularity or the original of the picture submitted, but I'm sure that a lot will be curious on how you rank the pictures. I'm trying to look at Starbucks gift cards though and I wanted to know if its international:
https://www.starbucks.ie/customer-service/faqs/cardCan I use my Starbucks Card when I travel internationally?
Starbucks Cards activated in any of the participating countries can be used to make purchases and be reloaded in any other participating country. Starbucks Cards must first be activated by loading money onto the card in the country of purchase before being used internationally. The participating countries are; UK, USA, Canada, Australia, Mexico, and the Republic of Ireland.
So its sounds like its not international unless I'm missing something. How can people living outside of those countries can participate if they can't claim those Giftcards?
Dear Kemarit,
You brought out very valid points. The starbucks gift card is a starting point in the marketplace. The marketplace shall be extended to multiple merchandise that can be purchased using fotto points.
The idea is to extend the advertising reach for the companies that want to advertise in the fotto network and split the advertising revenue with the fotto community members. Today, you do not notice this happening in the popular social medias.
This is the disruption that fotto aims to bring to the fotto community members.
With regard to the query on the AI algorithms, these are currently in the nascent stage. The algorithm improves when we have more users on the network for the AI algorithm to measure the connections and the likes received on the original content. Plagiarism photos will not receive fotto points even though they receive multiple likes.
Hope this answers your queries.
