The uPlexa blockchain will be powered by the billions of untapped IoT devices currently in-use in our world. This is done by using our modified CryptoNight algorithm in order to provide a viable option to IoT users in order to help pay a proportion of their electricity of running said devices. uPlexa's mining audience are individuals with IoT devices, or webmasters with high-volume websites. With the uPlexa Near-Zero Congestion Model (NZCM) webmasters may incentivize their users to mine for their company(s) in order to credit their users with rewards, whilst performing off-chain transactions to lessen the network load and increase transaction capacity. Targeting individual IoT devices and webmasters will help create one of the most decentralized networks.

The uPlexa team has a strong focus on creating an innovating IoT mining experience, whilst also preventing ASIC miners from exploiting our network. However, IoT mining is not our soul purpose. uPlexa thrives to provide a form of adoption via anonymous service provider payments, and it's very own eCommerce platform targeting anonymous transactions for both store owners, and store clients.

The Cryptonight-UPX algorithm is specifically focused on mining any device's CPU, big or small, for a coin reward. In return, you help secure the uPlexa network. The process to start mining via PC is extremely simple so beginners will have no barrier to entry. After you have acquired a wallet key though our GUI/Client Wallets or Web Wallet, our simple tutorial will have you mining in 15 min! And to the experienced miners, come make critique and add value to this exciting project. Check out our vision and reach the tutorial at the bottom of this post.

CPU mining instructions:
Go through the airdrop process and get your public wallet key at www.uplexa.com (solutions to any problems with this process can be found in our Discord community)

Go back to uplexa.com and click on "Resources & Downloads" in the dropdown menu

Pick the xmrig download that suits your OS profile

Open the downloaded file in-

    (a) Windows

• right click config.json
• open with notepad(or any editor)
• scroll to "user": "UPXwalletkey"
• replace default address with yours
• double check and save json file
• double click start.bat file

     (b) Ubuntu/CentOS

Both platforms will require dependencies. Install them via:

Once you start mining, you can refer to back to the  "Resources and Downloads" page for the pool link (https://uplexa.poolbux.com). Insert your wallet key into the box at the bottom of the dashboard to track tour mining progress.
