We haven't put a hard date on PoS yet, but it is something we plan to transition to.

Energi 2.0 is currently in development (scheduled for Q3 2019), which will include smart contracts and high transaction capacity with our existing Treasury and Governance model. The next major release after that is planned to include a transition to proof of stake.
