Purple Rain by Prince.

It’s raw, emotional and the guitar solo is dead on. I imagine Jimi Hendrix was smiling down through a “Purple Haze” at Prince from up above, that solo was straight up Jimi. Plus those strings at the end of the song, really hit people emotionally.
