The prices went even lower than the last years' dip right before the bull market. However, the BCH hard fork with its Hash Wars doesn't seem to bring any clarity or stability to the market.
So the question is following: would the market still go down or not much more and it would make sense to start shopping?
With the current position of momentum's Indicators I think bitcoin and altcoins are still going down. Most of them are at the oversold area but has no significant power to make any significant upwards movement. If you want to buy at the bottom then you should still wait as bitcoin might get to $3,000 before any recovering might take place and that might still be till January or February 2019. However, buying at the current price did not mean you have made a wrong decision about the market as we are having the lowest price throughout the year and if you are a long-term investor then now is the right time to buy.
