It's totally fine that some parts are very similar to lisk whitepaper As the underlying technology comes from LISK (Or crypti) as WELL mentioned in the Whitepaper.
If you use technology of other coins its good to mention them. Like all BTC forks mention BTC.
As for the team members cartoon we are a team of well funded members (this is the reason why we dont run ICO?) we dont want to expose our full names publicly and we'd like to develop this for both US and the community that we'll be able to gather.
Its a free project we have on our testnet and we will not abandon due to some haters even if you would like us too

Code-base is derived from RISE a crypto-currency which was derived from LISK but uses TypeScript instead of JavaScript to run the core business logic.
