Nor should they be. I think everybody making a decision whether to burn or not is fully aware of the risk that they may not get anything in return for burning BLK.  Based on that, I think 13mil burned out of 77mil (16.8% @ $500K USD current value) shows extraordinary confidence in either an idea, a person, or a project.  It’s a much safer proposition to wait until the product is completed and working in order to participate in acquiring tokens.

I can’t say I don’t feel some uneasiness about the BLK I’ve burned.


Well this is true but I am not too concerned really. Rat4 made pos3 that 99% of pos coins copy and pasted adopted so if there will be another good advance in POS then I would take my chances with Rat4 than the vast majority of other devs here.

I burned most of mine. Blackcoin will always be copied and pasted now and did not have the network effect to be able to withstand this like bitcoin could. Blacknet will not make this mistake.
