You're going to want to read Reporter Statistics.
For every post you report, 5 more appear.
You make it sound as if those 5 wouldn't appear if you wouldn't report that one post. Just to be sure: reporting spam is a good thing Quote
If every user reported posts as much as they posted, then we might be able to see a decline in spam.
I'm closing in on my post count: 6616 posts vs 5400 good reports. Not all reports lead to a deleted posts, but if I count nuked Newbies, I'm pretty sure I've had much more posts deleted than I've added.
