Generally speaking - yes, as in most coins. Ideally you must have as much CPU threads
as possible on your CPU, and each thread needs 1MB of L3 cache.
Atleast that works best for AMD CPUs.

I've heard for Intel it is better to use 2MB L3 per thread and use lower number of threads.
