it seems more people would turn to the margin trade market. normal trading just doesn't seem to cut it. in order to see a better start come 2019, we have to look at bitcoin in the long run, not as an immediate currency. according to google trend bitcoin is losing popularity not because its fundamentals aren't valid but because anyone who hears about bitcoin wants to participate just for the cash sum. most newbies entering the market today are neither knowledgeable or has enough research sense on how bitcoin ecosystem works. most of them just jump in due to fud. with this kind of mentality, more people would continue to dump the market as they are not emotionally strong enough to know that a bear market signals a healthy market.

also, my own thought on the downward decline of ethereum is simple: bad and scam riddle icos. as we all know it there are investors and there are traders. both sets of people participate in icos converting their eth to shitless, worthless ico projects. they lose their eth forever and this tends to reduce the value of eth too as it is used to create more worthless coin, flooding the market  then, later on, this coin infect other healthy ones
